Joe Shimanski – Distinctive Drywall

Founder and President of Distinctive Drywall & Painting, Joe Shimanski has more than 23 years of experience in the drywall industry. His experience in the construction industry goes back even further. His Dad was a builder, so many of his weekends and summer vacations growing up were spent on job sites. He learned many valuable things about the building process and the importance of always doing your best. With a passion to pursue something greater and make a bigger impact, Joe started Distinctive Drywall in 2001. He was determined to set new and higher standards for the industry. Joe and his wife Stacey have been blessed with three amazing children, Ryan and identical twin daughters Brooke and Avery. Joe loves boating (especially in Lake of the Ozarks), traveling and spending time with his wife and kids.
